This was my first time reading a book by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I read the preview on Amazon and I was HOOKED! Loved the chemistry between Jewell and Mason. Opposites do attract. Some LOL moments, Mason did do things to get under her skin. I must say this was a little "GEM". The story and the price was on point. Try it, you will not be disappointed. 5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, By

I read this novel in just a few short hours and i simply loved it. Jewell and Mason just could not fight the attraction they had for each other. What seemed to be so wrong with their attraction turned out to be soooo right. I have three more novels by this author to read and i can't wait. I will be sharing my opinions of those other books but i must say that Chanta Rand has certainly caught my attention. You go girl!

Twenty years ago, Vaughn “Chiller” Jackson was one of the most sought-after entertainers on the face of the earth. His pretty boy looks and soulful R&B ballads put him on the most wanted list of virtually every industry label. But even the brightest stars fade, and now the only people who want him are the ones who work at the IRS. Deep in debt, Vaughn turns to his manager, who proposes a shrewd rescue plan: A dating show based on the twelve zodiac signs. All Vaughn has to do is allow the cameras into his life for twelve weeks while he eliminates eleven bachelorettes to find his “soul mate”. Doing the show is easy; the hard part is keeping Sloane Young, the hard ass IRS auditor off his back.
Sloane Young knows she’s everything Vaughn Jackson doesn’t want in a woman. She’s conservative, hard-headed, and bossy. When the two get together it’s like oil and water. But she’s also smart; she’s got the perfect formula to get Vaughn out of this mess - if only he’ll listen. When Sloane makes the ultimate sacrifice to help Vaughn, she finds herself caught up in the outlandish world of reality TV. Before long, everything she’s worked so hard for is in jeopardy, and she finds herself in the unlikely position of choosing between Vaughn and her career.
Is this a sign of worse things to come? Or is it a sign of love? See the trailer on YouTube

This was a really good read. The back and forth between Sloane and Vaughn was great and makes that old saying true that opposites attract. They had great chemistry, hot sex scenes, and couple that with a pretty original story line and this makes for good reading. The whole reality show angle was pretty comical at times, and will have you laughing. I loved Vaughn's best friend Duke, and would like to read a story about him, I think that would be pretty interesting. Also Sloane's baby sister was a trip, I think a story on her would be thoroughly interesting. This was an really good read that I'd definitely recommend. 5.0 out of 5 stars SIGNS OF LOVE, I enjoyed reading this book (SIGNS OF LOVE) by Chanta Rand as her other books. I especially loves how Sloane handle those BITCHES on the Reality Show. Now the next anticipated wait is almost over for another BOOK. TOTALLY EXCELLENT WRITING.

This was a very good historical multicultre read, which there aren't many, so it's very refreshing to read one and to also read one that is good. If you haven't dabbled in historical romance then not sure how you will like the book or how your torelence for a different pace of scenery will make you feel towards the book. By

Pharoah's Desire was a refreshing read. I am a sucker for historical novels, I like to learn something while I am reading. The characters were alive, the scenes were vivid and the plots were carried from the beginning to the end of the story. I couldn't put it down and towards the end I almost couldn't bare to read it for fear that it wouldn't end the way I wanted it to. __________________________________________________________________________ |
